Happy holidays, everyone!
Here in Japan, we’re closing out 2025 under the Year of the Snake, a year often associated with renewal, shedding old layers and welcoming a bit of good fortune. That image fits my year surprisingly well.
For me, 2025 was a year of change. One of the biggest milestones was launching Eringo.io, my portfolio website. Creating it helped me clarify what I want to do, share my work, and take my first real steps into freelance work.
A summer trip back to my home country gave me the space to reflect on the past few years and what matters most. That reflection pushed me forward. And honestly, it’s a big reason this website exists at all.
I’m grateful for the people I met this year and for everything I learned along the way. I haven’t stopped learning: AI, web development, writing, translation. Each project helped me grow a little more.
Now we’re heading into 2026, the Year of the Horse, often described as a year of movement and action. That’s exactly the mindset I want to bring into the new year: keep building, keep learning, and take on more meaningful projects.
Wishing you a peaceful holiday season. Rest well, eat something warm, and step into 2026 with a smile.
